As an American, I’m feeling very gaslit by you all right now... I thought terms like “Gen Zee” and units like “Five foot three” is ignorant seppo bullshit. Vastly inferior to “Zed” and “160 cm”, or at least according to TikTok and Reddit.
In all seriousness, do you all use zee rather than zed? How much do you use imperial units? I only know my height in CM because of the activities I do so I definitely wouldn’t express it that way in a silly video.
Top Comment: Imperial units still get used here and there. Some examples are: Displays/screens, and photo prints are in inches. Tyre air pressure is in PSI. Subway sandwiches are foot long and 6-inch We often talk about people's heights in feet and inches A lot of common phrases use imperial units e.g. "give an inch, take a mile", "hard yards", "your mileage may vary" I would only use Zee if it's an American term/name e.g. Jay-Z, DMZ

They were actually so good together, but on a rewatch I was trying to figure out WHY I loved them together, and I couldn't find a reason. All they did was fight :( yet Alex and Paige had more chemistry than Paige and Spinner and that other newspaper guy.

What is going on with this video from "TBHskincare" Tiktok?

I don't even understand what is happening in the video or what people are arguing about or what the big deal here is. This somehow apparently ties into a feminist vs anti-feminist debate? But I don't see how... the video literally looks like nonsense. Can someone who knows tiktok explain what is going on here and why this video has gone viral.

Top Comment: Answer: the staff of a skin care company (led by one of the women in the video) filmed themselves doing a silly tiktok thing. It went viral (I believe) because it has the ineffable combination of cringy, catchy and WTF-silly. People have posted incorrect speculations about what's going on (such as it being a company's HR department psyching themselves up for layoffs) but there is no evidence that these are correct, and these posts are probably just rage-bait. The feminism angle arises because there are commenters who hate nothing more than seeing young, self-confident women doing something silly and not expressing any shame. (Kind of like the commenters of the "Numa-numa" guy who couldn't stand to see an overweight guy being self-confident and silly without trying to fat-shame him.) (Insecure people really have a hard time seeing people acting shamelessly silly.)
